SASSA has officially confirmed the July 2026 payment dates for all grants. Older Persons Grant and War Veterans Grant are paid on Thursday 2 July 2026. Disability Grant and Care Dependency Grant are paid on Friday 3 July 2026. Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant and Grant-in-Aid are paid on Monday 6 July 2026. You can check your SASSA SRD R370 status in several ways. The fastest method is online at the official SASSA portal. You can also check via WhatsApp by sending Hi to 082 054 0016. If you have no data, dial the USSD code 134 7737 from your registered cellphone number — this is completely free and works on any South African network. From April 2026 all permanent SASSA grants received increases. The Older Persons Grant increased to R2,400 per month for those under 75 and R2,420 for those aged 75 and above. The Disability Grant increased to R2,400 per month. The Child Support Grant increased to R580 per month. The SRD R370 grant remains unchanged at R370 per month until at least March 2027. If your payment date has passed and your money has not arrived, wait 2 to 3 working days for bank processing. Then check that your banking details are correct on the SASSA SRD portal. If nothing has arrived after 3 days, call the SASSA toll-free helpline on 0800 60 10 11 from Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. You can also send Hi to SASSA WhatsApp on 082 054 0016. All SASSA beneficiaries still using the old yellow SASSA Gold Card must replace it with the new Postbank Black Card before 31 August 2026. After this date the Gold Card will stop working completely.
